Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has announced the launch of its all-new ‘Get Away Again’ program – offering an instant $25 onboard credit for each $100 deposit for up to four future two-nights sailings aboard Grand Classica or Grand Celebration. This special incentive program for repeat guests is being introduced as a new tool for travel advisors, offering a lead-generator that helps drive bookings and revenue, as well as customer retention.
“We’re pleased to launch a loyalty offer that simultaneously rewards our repeat cruisers, as well as our travel advisor partners,” Francis Riley, senior vice president, sales and marketing, of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line. “This program is a terrific overlay to our dynamic onboard programming, which evolves throughout the year to keep travelers engaged, always experiencing something fresh and new. Ultimately, this is a fantastic way for travel advisors to maintain a steady stream of business, encouraging their clients to return to them for future bookings.”
The ‘Get Away Again’ program offers guests an incentive for booking a repeat cruise while still onboard or up to seven days after debarkation. For each $100 deposit made towards a future sailing, guests will instantly receive an onboard credit that can be used immediately, or during a future two-night cruise. The $25 onboard credit per $100 deposit can be used for up to four bookings for up to $150 in onboard credits, or up to $250 for Cruise & Stay deposits, which lets guests extend their island escape at one of four premier resorts and hotels, including Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach, The Grand Lucayan, Marlin at Taino Beach Resort and Club, and Pelican Bay Hotel. Guests will have one year to select their sailing dates and may use the deposit towards a booking with any other offers available at the time.
Recently named a winner of Cruise Critic’s 2019 Cruisers’ Choice Award for Best Entertainment, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is the only provider of two-night cruises to Grand Bahama Island with daily departures from Palm Beach. While sailing to paradise, guests can choose from several fine dining options, including gourmet burgers at The Bull; an intimate, candlelit dining experience at Admiral’s Steak and Seafood; zesty Italian fare at A Slice Above; or experiential, interactive dining at The Rock Grill – which gives guests the opportunity to cook their own meat and seafood dishes on a lava rock.
Each night onboard offers a different experience, with several nightly shows including the popular Celebration Nights and Let’s Dance! Production. Adult cruisers are welcome to cap the night with drinks and laughs during a late-night comedy show while younger travelers can mix and mingle at one of the Dancing Martian’s glow parties.
With commissionable summer offers including the Kids Sail Free and Girls Getaway promotions, as well as exclusive offers for teachers, military members/families, and solo travelers, now is the perfect time for travel advisors to encourage their clients to book a Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line escape.

Ponant, the French expedition cruise specialist, has opened bookings for cruises on Le Commandant-Charcot, a hybrid electric ship powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), will be the first to bring passengers to the Geographic North Pole at 90 ° north latitude, in unrivalled conditions of comfort.
The Geographic North Pole, the eastern coast of Greenland, The Northwest Passage, the Ross Sea, the Charcot and Peter I islands… Aboard Le Commandant-Charcot, guests will discover brand new itineraries usually inaccessible to classically-designed ship at this time of the year because of the ice floe. Innovative routing software makes it possible to slip through the natural created channels in the ice, while the ship’s powerful engines able it to free itself, where necessary from denser sea ice.
This formidable vessel of exploration will take passengers to the most southern and northern latitudes of the planet to live the adventure of their life in unrivalled comfort.
First luxury polar exploration vessel equipped with the latest innovations in environmental protection
Designed to be a new type of cruise ship, it incorporates all the latest innovations in environmental protection, making PONANT a model of excellence in responsible tourism. With its hybrid propulsion combining liquefied natural gas (LNG) and electric generators, the Commandant-Charcot has been designed to minimise its environmental impact. It hosts a scientific research laboratory equipped to study the ecosystems and biodiversity of this polar setting in perpetual change.
In fact, Le Commandant-Charcot is the first exploration vessel to surpass the ecological standards set out in international regulations.
Brand new itineraries in the footsteps of the great explorers
A polar exploration ship, with PC2 Polar Class certification, Le Commandant-Charcot will be able to reach the Geographic North Pole and remote parts of Antarctica such as the Ross Sea, or the Charcot and Peter I islands, among other exceptional destinations.
The “Geographic North Pole” cruise
Lying at a latitude of 90° North, the geographic pole is a mythical point covered by ice floe all year round, 700 km from any emerged land. Leaving from Spitsbergen, this cruise through sumptuous landscapes that are constantly changing according to the movements of the ice and the luminosity lends itself perfectly to the observation of fauna, which is particularly rich at this time of year. Le Commandant-Charcot will then start to move through the pack ice in the direction of the Holy Grail of all polar explorers: The North Pole.

Discovering the Northeast Greenland National Park” cruise in partnership with National Geographic

The itinerary of this cruise offers guests a unique experience in the heart of the Northeast Greenland National Park, the largest national park in the world and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve: here, there is no trace of human life, just Nordic landscapes as far as the eye can see and magically coloured glaciers. In the early summer, the ice floe breaks up, letting animals get closer to the coastlines: these are optimal conditions for observing the exceptional Arctic fauna.

Guests will notably cross the Bellot Strait, a key point of the North-West Passage, and sail along Banks Island, famous for the wreck of HMS Investigator lying offshore, but also for its national park with its abundant fauna.

Departing from Yokohama (Tokyo), Japan; Hong Kong and Shanghai, China; and Singapore, the contrasts between the ancient and the modern come to life as cultures steeped in tradition collide with soaring skyscrapers and bustling capitals. Nine different itineraries showcase the magic of each country and celebrate the histories and trendsetting modern cultures that have been thousands of years in the making.
“For many of our guests, a cruise to Asia is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so we build our itineraries to include multiple countries or in-depth explorations of an area and create meaningful and deep encounters on every voyage,” said Orlando Ashford, Holland America Line’s president. “Having such an extensive season allows us to visit those lesser-explored ports that offer an incredible glimpse into local cultures, along with the must-see larger cities such as Hong Kong and Singapore that are equally as memorable and fulfilling.”
Westerdam begins the season with a 13-day North Pacific Crossing from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Yokohama (Tokyo). The ship then begins a series of voyages that explore the Far East, from Japan to Singapore.
The 13-day Japan and China cruises from Yokohama to Shanghai include three ports in Japan; three calls in China, including an overnight at Tianjin (Beijing); and one call in South Korea. Westerdam’s 14-day Taiwan and Japan cruise from Shanghai to Hong Kong starts with an overnight in Shanghai and includes five ports in Japan; Manila, the Philippines; and two ports in Taiwan, with an overnight in Keelung (Taipei).

The 14-day East Asia cruise is roundtrip from Hong Kong and includes two calls in China, including an overnight in Shanghai; two calls each in Japan and Taiwan; and a call at Manila.
Celebrating the first cruise of 2020, Westerdam embarks on a 16-day Far East Discovery voyage Jan. 16 that follows the same itinerary but adds an overnight in Hong Kong.

Asian culture comes to life on board with EXC Encounters & Shore Excursions

Through EXC Encounters, guests can participate in activities like transforming a piece of paper into origami art, perfecting chopstick skills, learning the etiquette of local tea ceremonies, and exploring the poses and postures of the statues of Buddha.
Guests who want to learn more about the region can attend an EXC Talk by an EXC Guide about the ports of call, or head to an EXC Port to Table cooking demonstration, cooking class or themed mixology class featuring local fare. The Dining Room and Lido Market also will showcase the flavors of Asia.
