Norwegian Cruise Line confirms that Roberto Martinoli will move into a consulting capacity effective August 1. In his new capacity, he will continue to oversee the company's newbuild program and will assist in other areas as necessary. For personal reasons, Martinoli has accepted a position as CEO of a ferry company Grandi Navi Veloci in his hometown of Genoa, Italy where his family resides. "Roberto has been an incredible asset to the company over the past year, particularly in the building and launch of Norwegian Epic. Everyone at Norwegian Cruise Line wishes him well in his new role." In addition to his role as Norwegian CEO Kevin Sheehan will take on the role of President he held prior to his appointment as CEO. |
