MSC Bellissima, the latest unit in the fleet of MSC Cruises, was named at Southampton in the UK on 2 March, the company said in a statement. This was the second time the Geneva based company that is the largest privately owned cruise shipping operator in the world, had named a ship in Britain: the first one was MSC Poesia in April 2008.
