Mein Schiff 1 to host top chefs on Mediterranean cruise in September

TUI Cruises, the German premium market cruise line, says its Mein Schiff 1 will host two German top chefs and offer passengers an opportunity to dine at a restaurant in Barcelona that has two Michelin stars.
Ernst-August Gehrke, whose La Forge at Bad Nnndorf has a Michelin star plus Anton Schmaus, whose Hitorisches Eck in Regensburg also has similar decoration, will sail on the 10 night cruise on 21 September from Palma de Mallorca. The cruise will feature talks by the two chefs, while passengers at the Atlantik main restaurant will be given an opportunity to enjoymeals prepared by the two chefs on selected evenings.
Passengers that have purchased agourmet programme will also be able to join wine tasting with Stefan Weise, fleet sommelier of TUI Cruises. A special highlight of the cruise will be a six course dinner at ABaC, a restaurant in Barcelona that has two Michelin stars, the company said in a statement.
