The largest ever flight give-away by a mainstream cruise line launches on 30 October 2010 when Royal Caribbean International offers a 10,000 flight give-away promotion on selected 2011 Mediterranean sailings. The offer will save UK holiday-makers an estimated £2 million if they book a 2011 holiday during this promotion, which is designed to encourage cruisers to take advantage of the offer, the company said in a statement.
"The 10,000 flight give-away will be on a first-come first-serve basis for any of the applicable cruises booked and confirmed between 30 October and 20 December 2010 – that’s just 59 days for agents to take advantage of the phenomenal value on offer."
To celebrate the scale of the offer and the beginning of the Christmas season, Royal Caribbean International is giving away £100 worth of Marks and Spencer vouchers every day of the offer which can amply buy a full three-course Christmas dinner with Cava** – agents simply make a booking in order to enter a prize draw to win.
Jo Rzymowska, associate vice president & general manager, Royal Caribbean International, UK and Ireland , explains: “In a season of spending cuts that have dented consumer confidence, Royal Caribbean International is investing over £2 million to help agents sell 2011 cruises at completely unbeatable value. Our 10,000 flight give-away will only be available for a very short period of time and it really is almost too good to be true – the message is simple, get your clients booking now or they will miss out.”
