Pride of Hawai’i delivered

Norwegian Cruise Line has taken delivery the 93,558 gross ton and 2,466-passenger Pride of Hawai’i. The ship will begin 7-night intra-Hawaiian cruises from Honolulu in early June. Later this year, NCL will also introduce Norwegian Pearl and a year later Norwegian Gem. Both are almost identical sister ships to Pride of Hawai’i and Norwegian Jewel, which was introduced last year. Norwegian Gem will probably be the last newbuilding in the NCL fleet until 2010, when the cruise line expect to introduce a new and larger class of ship to its fleet.
