Tallink plans another newbuilding

Baltic cruise ferry operator Tallink plans to order another 48,300 gross ton newbuilding from Aker Finnyards. The Estonian company is already constructing a €165 million newbuilding at Aker Finnyards Rauma shipyard. The keel of the new ship, which will be based on the Helsinki-Tallinn route next year, was recently laid at the Rauma shipyard. The Rauma shipyard has delivered two, slightly smaller sister ships for the Estonian company, which operates on the routes from Tallinn to Helsinki and Stockholm.
