Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2, the two vessels of Hamburg based premium market cruise operator TUI Cruises, have met fopr the first time.
The 77,000gross ton vessels met in Palma de Mallorca over the past weekend in a party that was attended by some 4,000 passengers and more than 1,500 crew members. Prominent members of the business community and politicians joined the event that was hosed by the senior management of TUI Cruises on board Mein Schiff 2.
Fireworks in the evening completed the event and next time the two ships will meet will be on 13 October 2013 in Malta.
