MSC Opera being towed to port after losing power

MSC Cruises' 59,058 gross ton MSC Opera lost power Saturday after experiencing problems with one of its electrical panels during a 10-night Baltic sailing out of Southampton, Cruise Critic reports on its website. According to a statement from the line, tugboats are en route to assist the 2004 built, 1,756-passenger ship, which has been diverted to the port of Nynashamn in Sweden. Toilets are not working and there is no hot food, according to reports on the Cruise Critic website.
